| Is there a better show?? Caught a few episodes on a row for the first time in years today. The set, the characters, the humor. Just classic. It's rare a show so old holds true. Watching it as a mom of teens now gives me a whole new perspective. |
| My fave sitcom ever, probably. I love the reruns on Saturdays. |
| I could never stand her--so obnoxious. |
|
It was a pretty good show. I got more out of Cosby, though, being the brown and bougie child of brown and bougie parents
|
| I love John Goodman. He is just as vital as her in that series. |
|
I loved Roseanne then and I still do. She was cutting edge, and the humor stands up even now.
On the other hand....I'm a fat white woman, so......
(BTW I liked Cosby back then too but not sure I would enjoy it now because of the allegations against him.) |
+1. Couldn't watch that show. |

+2 ugh that voice. Nails on a chalkboard. |
| I loved the whole Becky keeps changing on us storyline. And I chuckled when Darlene and David hooked up again on The Big Bang Theory |

I love it. The first time around, I watched when I was Becky / Darlene's age. The second time, I rewatched henseries a couple years ago when I was Roseanne's age. Still holds up, for sure.
FWIW, Roseanne is shopping a few episodes to Netflix / Hulu / ABC. Apparently John Goodman & Sara Gilbert are on board. I would LOVE this--I need for the last season to never have happened and to get a better ending. |
+2. Disgusting. John Goodman and George Clooney were the only bright spots in that horrid show. |
| Aren't they going to do some new episodes? |
| My Mom used to let me watch Roseanne in bed with her at night before I went to sleep. My mother's laughter through all of those shows is one of my happiest childhood memories. |
