I simply cannot find a pair of jeans that fit! I have tried numerous brands and types, high waist, mid rise waist, skinny, bootcut, skinny bootcut, and they all look fine when I first put them on. But then, when I walk, or move around a little, they all start to slide, creating a muffin top, and then when I bend over or sit, you can see my bottom (this has put me in some embarrassing situations since I have a young DD and I have to end over a lot). I don't like the look of belts, and I am uncomfortable in jeans that don't have a little stretch, so I don't know what to do. I never used to have this problem with jeans, and I am not sure how they are different now, but none of them fit me. I am somewhat tall and have an hourglass figure (small waist and rounder hips and butt). I usually wear about a Size 10 in jeans. Any suggestions.

Lucky Easy Riders It's because post-pregnancy, even if you lose the weight and are the same size, contents have shifted during the flight. Your waist may still be smaller than your "rounder" hips and butt, but your stomach pooching out a little and "back fat" push things around a bit. Good luck! |
| Buy a size smaller. All jeans stretch out. When you buy them they should be just a Bit too small feeling. |
| you really have to buy your jeans painfully tight in the dressing room. they will stretch out to the perfect fit. if you buy them as a perfect fit they stretch out to diaper butt/mom jean territory. |
OP here. So, my jeans are too big? That's the best news I've heard in a long time. Thanks, you made my day! |

I'm surprised your pants are falling down if you have a small waist and rounder hips and behind.
Since you don't want to do belts, then stretchy jeans that will fit your waist properly and stretch to fit the rest. |
No, please do the opposite of this. I have a 13" waist-hip difference (most clothes are made for 9"-10" differences) and what you describe is literally impossible. OP, you need to buy a pair of high-waisted jeans (which are fortunately super trendy right now) in a size that fits your hips, and then have a tailor take in the waist for you. I have to do this with every single pair of pants i buy, even the elastic waisted ones. It adds $30 to the purchase price of everything and is a huge pain in the ass, but better than walking around pantsless. |
| I have the same problem, OP. My waist is smaller than my hips so my jeans don't stay in place. I wear a small, skinny belt to keep my jeans from sliding down. Since I normally wear longer, flowy tops - especially with skinny jeans - you can't even see the belt. |
+2. I'm 5'3 but with a similar build (small waist, bigger butt and thighs). I have a pair of jeans and even a pair of workout pants that I'm constantly tugging up. |
| Try ag or Hudson jeans. |
I have the same issue OP and AG jeans have usually worked for me. I did end up with one pair that slides down though. |
| Take them in in the waist |
| gravity tends to always win |
| Because you are too skinny. Congratulations on the *humblebrag*. |
Yes. My very stylish 18DD taught me this...go down a size. |
