| The administration just announced school no before care so if you have an early job, look elsewhere for a school. The administration did not want this to get out. Aftercare is now going to be sliding scale but $500 is the top fee per month. |
| $500? How does that compare to other schools? Lee? SS? $500 seems very high. |
| About $200 more than most schools (when considering only aftercare) |
$500 def on higher end. Wow!!! |
| On the WL. What does that mean timing wise? 8, 8:15, 830, 845? Thanks if you know I'm in the top 40 between Lee, SSMA, Breakthrough and trying to make the best decision. |
| MV aftercare is $440 if you don't qualify for subsidies. Additional fee for before care. |
just aftercare? really? |
| Care is also really high at YY. |
| LAMB is $400 for aftercare only for students who don't qualify for subsidies. |
Doors open at 8am next year, with class starting at 8:45am. Breakfast will be available in the interim. |
How early can you drop off for breakfast? |
Doors open at 8am. |
Curious what it is in the low end. At our DCPS it's about $200 per month on the high end. It seems like Breakthrough is trying to break through any notion of actually serving underserved children. |
| Reported at tonight's meeting: if you make $100,000 or less then you will pay a little bit less than $500. If you make less than that You pay less, sliding all the way down to zero. I think the before care is an issue as a lot of non-white collar workers need to be at work before 8 AM. |
Many DCPS has $300-$400 on high end |
