Does hogan think he's going to be vp...

...once trump is impeached?

I cannot understand his silence and acceptance of trump's policies, particularly the ones that have a direct effect on Maryland jobs and environment and schools.

I like Hogan but I know that he walks a fine line being a Republican Governor in a deep blue state. I like most of his policies and I think overall he's done a good job for the state. If he talks negatively then the R party won't back him for the next run. If he does not say anything the D will criticize him. I am very upset about the cuts Trump is making as it will affect MD in a major way.

He's not going to get reelected if he supports policies that are bad for Maryland.

That's not the way it works.

If Trump is impeached, Pence becomes POTUS and Ryan (or whoever replaces him if this afternoon is a fiasco) becomes VP.

Like what?

Why would Pence want to appoint a liberal RINO as his VP?

It's a wonder Hogan hasn't been run out of the Republican Party yet

No. Pence would appoint his own VP.

Nice try. Hogan has sold out to the Trump administration.

^ How about you string together a coherent sentence and formulate a coherent thought? We don't all need to lower ourselves to our president's level.

Hogan aligns with Betsy DeVos on how to fund education, which is to give all the money to the richest people so they can send their children to private schools. Everyone else gets to fight over unregulated charter schools and severely underfunded public schools.

This. Everyone doesn't move up a rung in the ladder if only the president is removed. The Speaker of the House doesn't come into play unless both the president and vice president are removed at the same time.

See, Gerald Ford appointing Nelson Rockefeller as his Vice President. The appointment had to be approved by both houses of Congress. Ford himself had gone through the same process when Nixon appointed Ford to be VP after Agnew resigned.

Actually her private school k-12 program only goes to poor kids.
