I’m convinced that the pattern on Charlotte’s skirt is fake. I honestly don’t know how anyone would be sitting in front of a computer doing that and think “yeah, this will fly.”

As someone with a relative who has had those kind of issues and surgeries - while significant - nothing would have prevented posing for a picture at several months out, particularly with a full hair and makeup team at the ready.

Who is attacking her? Very few. Mostly people are worried. Something seems off. Perhaps it is a serious medical issue (I’ve wondered about a stroke) in which case also concerned although that wouldn’t suggest anything nefarious. The secrecy and odd communications strategy make it seem like something shady is going on. Maybe that’s not the case and KP is just flat footed for some reason.

Speculating about a William/Rose affair with no basis in fact seems cruel, if not a direct attack, if she is trying to recover from a serious situation. Not that I think posters here have that effect, but the sentiment is all over parts of the international media/social media.

Complications would.

Post-surgery stress-induced shingles would. Especially if they are on the face or eyes.

Maybe that's part of the problem....there's really only a few major categories of issues that could be happening. The details of which we will mostly never know. Medical issues or complications, psychological/emotional complications, long term personality struggles coming to a head, marital issues, other less chronic stressors that are currently inflamed. They're human, there's nothing new under the sun...whatever it is or was, they felt forced to buckle down so as is typical that suggests there is some embarrassment or shame likely involved. Even if others would respond kindly. They're struggling and therefore retreating. It's perhaps not more complicated than that.
