Annoying moms

I love that commercial. I'm in a nanny share with that mother. (I'm the Cheetos eater...)

Go ahead, give formula. Millions of yrs of evolution creating the ideal food for our babies is probably NOT as good for them as something created in a boardroom for profit.

proselytizing or tongue in cheek? hopefully the latter

Moms who berate other moms for being holier than thou than wrap up their post with a real holier than thou zinger.
Way to take the high road.

Moms who think everything is a conspiracy and they no way more than the experts.

Actually, I'll qualify that - it's not the skepticism in the experts I mind, but it's the looking down on the moms who follow the experts as if they are complete morons.

Dashing off at work - meant to say "they KNOW more than the experts" (not NO).

My neighbor just adopted a pet lion and leaves it out in his yard while he gardens. It lunges at everyone walking by, but so far, he hasn't gotten loose.

My neighborhood is filled with kids. Do you think this might be a problem? Really, do lions REALLY attack small children?

Oh, and how bad is a lion's bite? Just wondering?

PP here. Do you think it's a problem if my neighbor's lion is scaring all the people on our block and now we don't go outside anymore?

Moms who get on here to get advice about how to make a 3 week old sleep through the night. Hello?! You are a mother now. No more sleeping. Get used to it.

Moms who confuse the Annoying Moms thread with the Farce thread....

Moms who think that if another mom has an opinion outside the mainstream, then that mom must be whacked and think everything is a big conspiracy, because that is such an easier way to dismiss her arguments than by actually using reason.

Moms that don't know how to cross the street. The big red hand means Stop! Don't walk!

You're right, that was me, and I agree it was annoying. Sorry. So I'll post this instead:

Moms who are too chicken to stand up for their children's safety and let their neighbors leave their dangerous pit bulls where they can lunge at people walking down the sidewalk. Plus, moms who write anonymously on DCUM wondering what to do when their own dogs bit their nine-month-olds in the face. But of course they don't want to do anything - they just want to find the only other crazy mother in DC to agree with them that it was their nine-month-old's fault.

Moms who use the quote option on the Annoying Moms thread - instead of just keeping it general.

Most likely no one is attacking you specifically!

Moms who deliberately leave out crucial pieces of information from posts so they can go ape-shit about how dangerous dogs are around children.

I'm not either of the PPs, but that person was attacking the other post.
