Annoying moms

PP, don't let it get under your skin. I suspect this is the same person that has been braying about this for quite a while on DCUM. It is just boring at this point, and I think she takes extreme positions just to get everyone all hotted up.

Such judgements made here! To each his /her own -- sheesh!

Moms who dredge up posts that are a month old and comment on them.

So what? She saw that and felt offended, as anyone might have been. Now what's your issue, you're the one who responded even more recently, so if you have such a problem with old posts, why say anything? Annoying...

Moms who don't return emails or phone calls and cancel playdates at the last minute, then they call/email you expecting you to hang out with them. Get a clue.

Moms who think everyone wants to be their friend

parents who pay their household employees' under the table/don't pay their social security/medicare/unemployment taxes.

smug marrieds who are patronizing to single childless women in their late 30s.

any mom or dad who has an affair with some else'e husband or wife, especially of there are children involved.

moms that are extreme - especially the ones that say "no plastic toys"......ugh!

moms who think that their kid's social life is all about the mom.

Moms who think that the entire world should be structured around their kids' issues/quirks/personalities. As in, "my child is academically advanced so there should be more small groups which let the high achieving kids excel" but "my child is not athletically inclined so the team should be required to play all kids for an equal amount of time".

Moms who pretend they don't know the issues swirling around plastic and post a question asking what's wrong with it just so they can lure those who don't use plastic out into the glare of their searchlights, then sneer at them and insult them, then sit back while they watch the angry mob finishes the dirty work they started.

Moms who think making fun of breastfeeding and la leche league is really cool and who don't realize that the pressure they get from formula companies is WAY greater (if more subtle) than from strident Breast is Best fanatics.
Go ahead, give formula. Millions of yrs of evolution creating the ideal food for our babies is probably NOT as good for them as something created in a boardroom for profit.

Moms who are so naive they think profit has nothing to do with any of the advice they receive from professionals.

has anyone seen the Cheetos commercial with the annoying mom bragging about her son's Mandarin skills? Then the other mom wipes her cheesy hands all over her white shirt. It made me think of this thread.
