I don't think they really film them all of the time. It's easy to put on a show when you are half normal like those two. They have no money problems unless you count Adam's loser ways when it comes to paying child support. Maybe she needed that money in the beginning but not now.

I think he likes the stability of daycare. He knows what he will be doing every day and it's fun. Life with Janelle is likely exciting for the cameras and boring IRL. Day camp is probably fun every day. He knows Babs will pick him up and he will have dinner and bed. Routine and stability are so important for kids.

My thoughts as well. He probably has regular friends there, he knows the teachers, and they have fun structured activities for him, and probably no adults screaming at each other. Babs is great, but I'm sure she's stressed and that trickles down to Jace inevitably. Day camp is his escape, where it can be all about him. Sounds like when the cameras aren't there, Jace plays his XBox by himself or with Maryssa (although I think she's only there for the cameras, too). I was just thinking, has there been a time recently when Jenelle wasn't involved with a man that Jace would be old enough to remember? She was with Nathan for a while (in Jenelle-land), then she was battling with him, and now she's with Dave. so there's never really been a time when Jace could go to his mom's house, and just BE WITH HIS MOM. There's always somebody else taking up her time. No wonder he calls Babs Mommy. (Jenelle: Oh you mean Meme? Jace: sure whatever)

All of these women are starving for the attention of men. Especially the ones without father figures in their lives (Jenelle, Kail specifically). The others seem to manage better without a man.

I feel for all of these kids. Surely the cycle will continue.

Leah had a father and a stepfather in her life and didn't seem to be able to leave the house without falling on a dick for years. This is the first time she's ever been single in the whole show - she was living with a guy in the last house who somehow was left off camera.

Meh, Watson's a name, though. Maybe they liked -son names but wanted one that was underused. Why is Watson terrible but Jackson would be fine? Better than Leah's made up names for the twins. And Watson's middle name is his father's name. You know, like regular people sometimes do.

Did anyone see the "10 Favorite Moments" show or whatever it was called recently? The difference in how Leah looked then vs. now was very dramatic. She is skin and bones now.

I don't get all the recent Kail hate, especially when we have Janell and Farrah as examples of truly horrible people.

Kail's family is going through a stressful and painful phase on camera (some of the time) and even the best of us wouldn't come off looking and smelling like roses if we were in that position, maybe we can show a bit of compassion and empathy toward her and her family.

So was the guy who was blurred out when Jo came to pick up Isaac, Kailyn's new guy? Jo seemed to know him.

I agree that Farrah and Janelle are awful, too, but Isaac just seemed so sad this week, and my heart broke for him. I don't understand why Kailyn is being so irrational about letting Javi in the house when they both bought it together (didn't they?). It's not like he wants to stay there permanently.

I think Chelsea can take or leave the show (even in the beginning I think her dad had enough means to support her and Aubrey if needed) so I think that makes them look "normal" on camera bc they aren't in desperate situations. Jo has grown the most since 16 and pregnant…really turning into a good man. Hope he can shed the weight though.

Did anyone notice that convo Chelsea had with her dad about child support? It kind of seemed like her Dad controls all her money. She said something like "is he support behind, since I can't see that". Interesting since she is married and all.

Watching now. Poor Isaac. Kail is truly a selfish, terrible mother. Isaac is so confused. It's sad to watch. She needs to move her focus from dicks and plastic surgery to her children.

No one is saying that Jenelle and Farrah are not horrible. But Kail's level of selfishness has increased over the years and not decreased. Did you not hear that her argument was that no one has been in her business for 6 months? Like it or not she was still married when Javi returned home and that was still his house too. She should be thankful that he had planned to stay in a hotel.

And this isn't about "a stressful and painful phase" this is who she is. How she acts on camera is no different than how she acts the rest of the year on her various social media accounts. She is very proud of how cold she comes across and how that she always fights with everyone. It's far past the time for her to be blaming everything on her mother and for her to take responsibility for her actions.

The fact that Joe could see the damage Kail is causing Isaac is astonishing. Thank god Isaac has at least one mature parent.

You know what? I'm OK with that, since Chelsea seems a) really dumb but b) to also have done really well for herself. She's the only one over both franchises that isn't wasting scads of money by moving every six months, getting a new car every three months, and getting tattoos and plastic surgery.

Jo really is a breath of fresh air. Very mature, tried to get along and have everyone else get along!

The thing I like best about Jo is that he wasn't always that way. He, ya know, grew up. In one of the recent specials ("your top 10" or something like that) there was a clip from an early season, where Kail was moving out and he was a dick about her getting her stuff (hahaha, how the tables have turned!). But he was really aggressive and shouting/cursing at her, and his mom stepped in and told him to stop. I know there was a whole backstory, and Kail wasn't Miss Innocent either, but in the clip, he was being an immature jerk. And he was probably... 17 or 18 years old. He has grown up and matured SO MUCH. Yes, he was a spoiled cocky teenager, but he's a mid-20s father of two now, and he knows it, and he ACTS LIKE IT.

Kail, I dunno, just doesn't seem like she's grown up much. Her scenes from years ago are fairly similar, in terms of attitude and outlook, to what she's like now. Same with Jenelle, and Leah too (Leah might be worse). Chelsea is the other one who's done a whole lotta growing up.

This last episode, it was hard to see Jace being so obviously stuck in the middle. Why is he even asking about "court"? Oh, because Jenelle talks about it to Dave while he sits in the backseat. I remember a while ago Jenelle posted a picture of her Mother's Day gifts and Jace's card had some really terrible, large handwriting. It really looked like a preschooler or kindergartner had written it. Twitter was kind of all over it, but really watching him talk to Barb about court, his speech just seemed so immature for his age, especially when compared to Isaac. I remember Jenelle admitted that she smoked pot while pregnant with him, and didn't think it was a problem at all, so I wonder if there are some lasting effects from that. Wouldn't surprise me if she drank while pregnant, too, or did other drugs. Poor kid. He really has a worst shot at life out of any of them.
