As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

It’s foolish to look at that one debate and not realize that Biden isn’t fit to be president TODAY much less for the next 4.5 years.

There is no way Trump will agree to another debate. Why would he? Biden had his chance and he blew it.

Trump - and any politician - would agree to a million debates with President Biden.

Biden is obviously unwell and unfit for any office, much less the Presidency. Think of the debate a couple of days ago, and now imagine him four years from now when he is 86 in the unlikely event he is still alive. Aging happens. That is the real world.

Unless Democrats get it together and remove Biden from the ballot and find someone else, this will be a catastrophic loss for Democrats across the board. Trump will be President. And both the Senate and House will be red too.

But all I'm seeing are Democrats circling the wagon and going all in with Biden.

Absolutely pathetic Party.

Pathetic is supporting a candidate who is twice impeached, convicted felon. Who was also found liable for sexual abuse. Trump is a misogynistic sociopath. Who incited a riot because the election didn’t go his way. Too bad, deal with it, like most presidents would have. Oh and totally botched the response to a pandemic and thousands of people died because he didn’t give a s***. We haven’t forgotten what an atrocious failure Trump was. I will post this same response 1000x if I have to until election day.

Post all you want. I despise Trump, but if Democrats are going to go all in with a clearly enfeebled 82 year old Biden, then Trump will be President again. And if you don't care for that, use your energy to remove Biden and find a better candidate. Trump will be President again if this doesn't change very soon.

oh please. Trump is insane and a criminal and approaching 80 years old. So you are going to tell me that all these pissed off women, among other demographics voting will come to a screeching halt because of a dismal debate performance?? Look at how the Ds have been turning up and voting
this past year. The Rs should be looking over their shoulder after what happened in the Ohio special election.

All it takes is enough dems not showing up. And that is what will happen. He’s not going to get better. So they will either hide him away or he will flop again. We need to get real here. Kamala is not a viable alternative. We have completely fumbled at a critical moment for our country. We need a new candidate now. For Chrissakes the house could invoke the 25th amendment and who knows what would happen if he’s having s bad day? They probably won’t because they would rather run against him than anyone else. I’m a lifelong moderate dem but this is not ok. We don’t choose our party over our country. I don’t care how f’d up the republicans are.

Again, I will repeat my point. Women and other groups are 🤬 because of what has happened at the Supreme Court, anong many other things. The man has left a trail of destruction from his 4 yrs in office. They may not show up specifically for Biden but they will show up to vote and vote blue to keep Donald J Trump out. Again, Ds have performed well in most elections this year. Trump is toxic, that will never change.

It’s too late to get behind another nominee. Deal with it.

Pp here. I’m a woman. I’m a dem. I voted Hillary. I’m outraged at the Supreme Court. But this is crazy you can’t bully people into voting. I can’t vote for Biden who I really liked before. It makes no sense we have no idea who is really running things. People don’t like to be conned, I am one of them. You are asking me to affirmatively vote for someone I know to be incompetent just because I hate trump (and I do, believe me.). I won’t do that. The party has gotten way too arrogant to think they can get away with this. I will vote third party.

Bullying? I sure don’t see it that way. How about the alternative is too terrible to comprehend. A former reality tv host became President by luck. He has since tried to dismantle our democracy. Incited an insurrection. Doesn’t get worse than that.

Wake up.

If you thought that the "Biden doesn't have stage 5 or 6 dementia" chapter was a feel-good experience, the "Biden won't start a nuclear war with Russia" chapter will be loads of excitement like you've never imagined!

One of the few things that Trump said during the debate that did stand out in a fair way was that under his presidency, the world was far more at peace. There was no Ukraine war, there was no Hamas genocidal attack on Israel, there was no belligerent Iran. For all the hysteria about Trump, it was media driven and among the Democrats, but day to day life was pretty good, economy was growing with wages outpacing inflation, and we had no wars overseas. Trump himself was a disaster in many ways but it was on a personal and organizational level, but he by and large pretty much left Americans alone.

When COVID hit, that was the perfect time for Trump to seize quasi-dictatorial power, but he didn't. He was attacked for not doing enough even though he stayed within the boundaries of presidential powers and left most matters to the states, where it really did constitutionally belong. And the blue state Democrats had far more severe shutdowns and remote learning than the red states even though as it turned out, with no difference in outcomes.

Accusing Trump for wanting to dismantle democracy is hypocritical given that he won his primaries fair and square, he may have petulantly refused to engage in the debates but he still won the voters fair and square. Contrast that to the Democrats, who cancelled primaries in a bunch of states and fiercely shut down potential competition like Dean Phillips and RFK jr. That doesn't sound democratic to me!

with Trump:

failed to deliver the wall, infrastructure and health care (remember repeal and replace Obamacare).

What do you mean "we have no idea who is really running things?" Sorry but despite whatever "dementia dementia dementia" crap the right wing is spamming everywhere, Biden IS NOT that far gone. Not to mention, unlike Trump, he knows how government works and how to get things done, and who to lean on to get them done, he is surrounded by a highly seasoned and capable team of advisors and experts who like him, know policy and know how to get things done. Unlike Trump, who did not listen to anyone, who had a revolving door of people, constant scandals and firings of his officials, constant string of policy failures like border and immigration policies being thrown out by the courts because his advisors didn't understand or respect laws and policymaking.

You're free to vote for whoever you like but I don't see any compelling third party options either. RFK Jr is a wackadoo, the Libertarians, Greens and others are sketchy AF.
That should be his new campaign slogan.

"Biden, not that far gone."

It makes total sense why his campaign kept him in a basement during last election cycle. He has been on decline for the last 4 years.

Okay, “Biden, not that far gone” is the new bumper sticker. Made me chuckle.

Would be perfect for use by the Trump Campaign.

We don’t know who is running America under Biden.

The RNC never wanted Trump as candidate; but republican voters did, so the RNC respected their voters and the process of choosing a candidate.

The DNC does not respect their voters or the process of choosing a candidate.

In fact, they don’t respect America or Americans, by lying about Joe’s medical condition and running the country behind the scenes. Voters have a right to know who they are voting for to do the job. With dems, that is unknown.

Trump installed his daughter in law as the head of the RNC. Multiply that times a million and you have next trump administration. Sounds truly horrible.

I generally use foreign sources and have been for about 10 years now. I go to NHK (Japan), French (English speaking one), BBC and few others. (Foreign media provides DIFFERENT perspectives and covers other issues deliberately SUPPRESSED by MSM).

In addition, try Independent media outlets such as "Breaking Points". They have one former MSNBC person Krystal and one former WH Correspondent (Right leaning) Saegar, Hill's "Rising" is pretty independent as well. "Kim Iverson" is great for foreign policy and Covid coverage - very independent and very competent. There are others but get started with those.

Yes. But all we hear about is the Biden crime family. Projection, folks. The grift is happening right before your eyes and was happening all throughout the Trump presidency.

Trump installed his dil after he won the vote of republican voters during 3 primary cycles.

Republicans vote for their candidate; democrats don’t even know who chose Biden and who is directing the executive branch from an offsite location.

The RNC is basically taking the money they take in to pay for Trumps legal bills.

How does that help down ballot candidates?

Not for "whatever reason". I do not watch fox, msnbc or ANY MSM. I only use Independent media so I knew hoe corrup both DNC and RNC are as well as the MSM. I voted for Trump in the primary because I questioned why are those in 'control' so hellbent on blocking Trump from the office by using any means necessary?

I came to the conclusion that those in power do not like Trump because he cannot be controlled with throwing billions of dollars. Money is poison in politics.

I agree with half of your post but let's not forget that Trump failed miserably when tasked with a very simple yet important job as Commander-in-Chief when he was in office. Demonstrating integrity at all times is the most important trait for a POTUS to have and Trump clearly showed us that he is lacking. Acknowledging this fact does not make you a Biden supporter. It makes you a decent American with an IQ above 90.

This all day.

How many times have we heard that the Dems want to run, say, Michelle Obama? For what reason? She’s not a politician, she was the First Lady.

And if Jill’s behavior after the debate (plus her post about prepping for the G7) doesn’t tell you, she’s not content to “just” be the First Lady, and certainly not only for one term.
