SJC dropped out of DCSAA tournament. |
Is that true? Why? |
I am a visi parent and of course the loss was caused by none of those things save perhaps the coaching. It was a game played very well by sssa and visi. either team Could have won. This comment above is mean. If the clipboard was left intentionally I believe it was poor judgement what ever the notes were. |
It was the notes on shooter’s weaknesses for the goalie. Calm down everyone. |
Clipboard-Gate |
Wouldn’t it be helpful to know what the opposing team thought of as your weakness? |
Visi just wishes they had any clipboards—Maybe saints was trying to do them a favor. |
Too funny. |
Visi should be honored. Other teams just have a clipboard that says “Bucky”.
|
In the end Stone Ridge has more talent than all the teams and the deepest bench in the ISL. SR will win the ISL unless refs give it to the Saints. Just a prediction. Saints are well coached, but Stone Ridge should win - in theory. Good luck to both teams |
Does anyone know? |
Wait, let’s vote? What Visi parents think that the opposing coach left out her scouting notes on the opposing team in a place the opposing team would find in, on purpose?
🤣😆🤭 This is my favorite thing ever on DC Urban Moms! |
I watched the SSSAS-VISI game yesterday in person. SSSAS could have, and should have, started stalling up by 3 with 9 minutes to play. However, they continued to play aggressively and took some ill-advised shots and had several turnovers down the stretch that allowed Visi to claw back in to the game. Frankly, the game should not have been as close as it was. But SSSAS played 5+ freshman pretty much the entire game. Youth like that can lead to some poor in-game decisions.
Having not seen the earlier game between these two teams, I am at a loss as to how Visi could have been so good at home and then play so poorly on the road. I can only come to the conclusion SSSAS must have really stepped it up yesterday. Anybody blaming the refs for yesterday's result is clearly being disingenuous. SSSAS looks loaded going forward. |
The answer is coaching and time. But what we really want to hear about is the clipboard (and how I can get my kid's coach to leave her goalie-notes). |
So More clipboard, not cow-bell? |
