I was asleep. DW came home at 10:30; she had to tell me all of the gossip. I just wanted to sleep. For the love of god, let me sleep.

And then, I could not get back to sleep till one. But, I had to be a work at 6:30....

I'm kind of on this side, too. For your DW or GF to do this means that she wants to share this part of her life with you. She's inviting you into her inner world in a very specific and intimate way. Reject this invitation at your own peril, OP.
