I was given one like 15 years ago and just found it tucked away in a lower cabinet in the back. I think I used to make steak on it? I can't even remember! I don't have access to a grill but I like steak.
Anyone using these? If so, what are you slapping on there? |
| Just cooked up a chicken breast on mine a couple days ago. |
| I use it about three times a week. Mostly to make chicken for dinner and lunches. |
Do you marinate the chicken or anything? Or just slap a slab of meat on there? I can't remember what I used to do in any detail. |
| Yep. We marinated chicken the other night and threw it on the Foreman. Still a great kitchen tool! |
| I live in a condo with a balcony, so no grills allowed. I plug in the Foreman outside to do burgers and chicken in the summer. |
| Great for turkey burgers too! |
|
Rarely use, but enough to not toss.....
chicken apples sausage ham steak |
| I still have one too, but haven't used it in years. How do you guys clean it? |
Special sponges. Made to fit perfectly in the grooves of the foreman. |
|
I dug mine out- brought some cuban sandwiches home from Florida and pressed them on the grill. Hands down the best way to press subs or just bread and butter.
I don't think we've ever "cooked" anything on it, just heated and pressed bread/sandwiches! |
The plates on mine come off and go in the dishwasher. |
| Cleaning it was always the problem. It is in the basement..keep forgetting to purge it. |
+1 Yep, we mostly do paninis, or grill chicken. Probably use it once a week. |
| I haven't used it since I burned my foot cooking bacon. |
