Does anyone still use a George Foreman grill?

This thread is amazing to me. My parents have been trying to give me their Forman Grill for years now as they try and declutter. It's been in their basement for close to 20 years!

I'm glad I'm not the only one

Wait, are these for real or are you guys just fans of The Office? ?

Well, like waking up to the smell of bacon and I don't have a butler so I have to do it myself.

Except Ryan who bought him some chocolate pudding and his kindness healed his foot!

I use mine three times a day. You should all buy one.

Food tastes much better on the grill OP ... yummy. I use ours to fast track my dh's food since I don't eat meat.

I used mine this week to cook beyond burgers. Also use it for Salmon

My 82 year old mom loves you, George. She uses your grill all the time. She calls it … wait for it … George. If I call her in the afternoon and we get onto the topic of dinner she'll say "I'm making chicken with George." I don't think she'll ever leave dad for you but you never know!

I just started using ours again. It grills boneless chicken thighs so perfectly. I use it for tilapia too.

To clean just stick a wet newspaper in when it’s still warm. It steams right off any lingering junk.

I use mine as a panini makers, it’s great for that. But still a pain to clean.

I just got one for Christmas, the kind with dishwasher-safe plates. Excited to use it this weekend- I think I will try some chicken breast for the dog. I don't have to use oil on the GF grill, right?

I have the Cuisinart version (it was a gift, so no shade on George), and it has non-stick plates that come off for cleaning and can be switched out (grill, flat for pancakes, waffle). I use it all the time.

I had one when they first came out.

Steamed meat? No thanks.

Maybe they have improved since the original launch!

I love mine, we use it constantly for grilled cheese, grilled turkey and cheese, quesadillas, etc. Also use to heat and crisp burritos. When my kids were little and had playdates constantly I would whip up 2-3 grilled ham and cheese sandwiches on the Foreman, cut them into strips and serve them as finger food snacks, always a hit. To clean I just wipe with a ball of wet paper towels while it's still hot.

My DH calls it the foreskin. "just throw it in the foreskin for a few".

I only came here to see how long it took for an Office reference to come up.
