Do you ever throw your husbands clothes away?

I periodically edit his clothes, because I just don't want him to badly dressed. He sometimes looks around for something and tattered Tshirt, sweats with stains, like a momma cat looking for a missing kitty. I never confess because he would get mad. He should thank me.

I know exactly how you feel. I have edited my husband's wardrobe as well.

Oh, yes, I have! He generally has great taste in clothes actually, but every once in a while he brings home something that just doesn't work for him. We discuss and I will gently suggest that we give away the occasional poor choices. Now, the torn and ripped tee shirts just disappear!

Edit?
No, I would never do this. He is an adult. He can choose how to dress. I would be upset if he threw out something of mine. He would be upset if I threw out something of his. It is not my place to do that.
I will, however, tell him if something doesn’t look right on him or if something is really out of style and needs to be thrown out or donated. It is his choice whether to do this.
He will do the same with me.

no, I don't edit anything of his. I'm his wife not his mommy.

All the time. He's finally realized I'm doing it. I buy all his clothing.

I did this in our early 20's after we'd moved in together. I also did it with sheets his mom bought for our bed. Now, not so much.

No because we're both adults and almost 40 and he is the father of my children. I'm not his mother.

I hope he throws your clothes away. This is as bad as opening mail addressed only to him.

I made a great first impression on my future brother in law (who didn't meet me for a full year more) because his brother was no longer embarrassing. Yes. I've been throwing away clothes forever.

Yes, the Goodwill Fairy makes regular visits to our house.

I do that too. We have no secrets.

Yes, but only things he doesn't wear and would therefore never notice being gone.

Same here, OP. Discreet editing.

I shamelessly throw out underwear and socks that are falling apart. The man will keep wearing holy underwear and socks until he's basically going commando and barefoot, god love him. I don't throw out shirts or pants, though. I will gently ask him if it's time to let certain pieces go when they've reached the end of the road, though.
