we enjoy watching the fosters... and some other shows like I don't know the names right now but the one on ABC on Tuesdays. and Wednesday like Speechless. What shows do you watch?

Shows we like to watch with our 12-13 yr olds... The Goldbergs, The Middle, Timeless, Supergirl

We watch Timeless and now we watch movies which may be available for free, like The Imitation Game. That was a huge hit with my tweens.

Just binge-watched Just Add Magic with my 11 yo dd.

Watching Gilmore Girls. Next up will be their choice of Stranger Things -- they have seen it, but I haven't so they will get to show mom something cool that they like. After ST, I will be looking for ideas.

Some of the shows I have watched with my 15yr old daughter in the last 2 or so years that we both loved

Stranger Things
Wonder Years
Arrested Development
Alias
Freaks & Geeks
Everybody Hates Chris
Friday Night Lights

used to once Watch Upon a Time (we are Disney fans) but she grew out of that or the show just kind of got boring.

We have watched a few seasons of Parks & Rec and Malcolm in the Middle but never really finished. Both were pretty funny though.

We just finished the People v OJ with our 14 year old

Do you have Netflix? Our teen DD loves

Leverage (great for teens who like clever plots and who enjoy flawed Robin Hood-type characters doing the right thing the tricky way)
The Librarians (from the same producers as Leverage, with a magical bent)
Psych (they took it off Netflix and DD was bereft)
MASH (not for all kids but great for any kid who appreciates the seriousness behind the humor)
If your kid is into science fiction, there are all the different Star Trek series, which build whole worlds over time. Our DD loves "Deep Space Nine" because she's into world-building stuff like lots of invented religion and politics. She likes Star Wars too but prefers Star Trek as there's so much more of it....
Hoping to see Stranger Things together soon and see if the hype is right!

Also -- if your teen likes comedy, go to YouTube to see sketch comedy by Studio C. It's often touted (by others more than by Studio C themselves) as clean comedy, and yeah, it doesn't have comedy based on sex and the language is clean, but clean or not, it's often much funnier than SNL has been in recent years (barring the political humor, which SNL does brilliantly and C doesn't do at all).

The best of Studio C is the two "Scott Sterling" soccer and volleyball parodies -- we can watch them over and over. Trust me, your kid will love those.
