TV shows you can/want to watch with your tween?

My kid liked Galavant but that's being cancelled. I thought Grandfathered was funny, but that's being cancelled. Neither of us really got into Blackish, but we could try again.
(I was really bummed when I previewed Angie Tribeca that it put in a lot of unnecessary flipping the bird type stuff that pushed over the line what was mostly goofy, slapstick comedy.) Growing up, we could watch as a family shows like Good Times, Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, the Carole Burnet Show, and even some dramas like Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere. What current TV shows do you watch with your tween or anticipating any new shows being a good fit for the tween audience? (Anything other than reality shows and Full House does not appeal in the least.) |

Agree with the first three. I haven't watched Supergirl but heard its good. I'd also give Blackish another try. This season was terrific and they tackled a lot of important issues that led to discussions in my house. My kids also LOVE Girl Meets World on Disney. My dad said the new season is premiering in early June. It's so much better than many other recent Disney shows like Jessie, etc. |

We love various PBS shows like, Genius Stephen Hawking, Nature and Nova.
Also like most Japanese cultural series on NHK. Other shows recorded on the DVR are, Goldbergs, Gumballs, Teen Titans and Dog with a blog. Not into Blackish or Fresh off the Boat... they are sometimes raunchy, inappropriate for the very young tween. |

We are watching Supernatural and Breaking Bad currently. We watch Malcolm in the Middle and Family Guy too.
I like some of the Netflix originals, but the sex scenes are too graphic. I didn't realize that initially and had an awkward moment of scrambling for the remote. |

We watch the first 3 as well. also Black-ish We watch the kids baking competition shows. Also if you have amazon, Just Add Magic was a cute show |
