After the World Cup youth soccer is going to make more sense. A desire from multiple organizations and us soccer to have youth soccer make sense.

Does this mean the merging of governing bodies?

Also they mentioned college soccer pulling away and being ran by us soccer with regional games and mentioned the issue with players from outside the US taking opportunities.

Are they going to replace all the soccer ignorant parents here with parents from true soccer cultures?

Like there’s no crazy European parents. Parents in Europe paying next to nothing for great soccer shouldn’t be saying anything anyways.

Posted about age change and commented back to parents asking questions. Kids who are in misaligned grades will be allowed to tryout to play up but it’s not guaranteed. No players will be forced up.

What they're not saying is no misaligned players will make grade down A teams. If you dont try out for and make the correct grade A team you'll be lightly funneled into either the grade down B team or correct grade B team, your choice.

I'll be more clear.

1. Clubs dont want to deal with 9th grade on 8th grade teams who play in HS for 3 months of the season
2. Clubs dont want to deal with parents that are upset because some player is playing down and taking up their kids minutes
3. Clubs want to position players in the best possible light for college recruiting

These teams have over 20 kids on each team, about one kid per team missing a few games isn't an issue.

Clubs don't want a bunch of players playing up on age, they made that clear.

Clubs said colleges don't care what age group kids are in.

And clubs don't want parents like you, trying to dictate rules that don't exist making their lives tough.

So if you're an August born player who tries out for a lower grade team, and you're the oldest and one of the best players in the pool, you will be judged only on what grade you are and not how good of a player you are?

No, clubs don't force kids to play up. Their issue right now is getting kids August - December to all move down an age group and all the chaos that that ensues. They have to be pretty firm on playing on age so they properly adjust to SY from BY.

This isn't what they said. I can't believe you actually care enough if this isn't your team. Eastside isn't some vanguard that all the other teams are going to follow. Case by case means case by case.

They said free to tryout, not forced to try out, not the same. Again, why do you care what Eastside does? Is this is your team, just ask them, if not time to move on.

I was responding to the person saying if you don't make your grade A team (playing up because you're an August born), then playing on age a grade lower, you will be put on the B team
