She always struck me as so incredibly mentally unstable. I guess that is coming out now.

From one of the calmest known men on the planet. In fact, past girlfriends described him as so mellow and lethargic from the pot.

I just am not buying he is a monster. Though--she certainly has a well-documented history of intense anger, jealous rages and violence. I also see her as an instigator,,,needling, pushing, pushing...doing everything to provoke a reaction.

Menopausal hormones are also a bitch for some women. We didn't recognize my sister before she finally got on some psych meds to ease her through it. She was prone to anger at times---but the pre-menopausal hormones-who-wee!!! My dad said he wouldn't blame her husband if he divorced her at the time.

She's all better now, btw

It sounds to me as though Angelina really thought that Brad was having an affair and had gotten another woman pregnant. She flipped out, hired a divorce lawyer and went on the immediate offensive - gathering ammo to use against Brad and to paint him in the worst possible light.

But, as it turns out, Brad didn't get another woman pregnant after all. Oops.

Other than DCUM, where has it been reported that the kids are wild and run rampant. I've never seen a story on TMZ, Entertainment 2Night, Jimmy Fallon, etc. with those accusations. Just asking for a reliable source other than DCUM and the source is dated before the filing of this divorce.

I don't think it's so bizarre. What's bizarre is believing that it only happens to men and posting that idea to a forum with a few million pages proving otherwise. As someone who only recently acknowledged that my own life looks great from the outside but far less so within, I have to believe that there's way more going on in that marriage than any of us can know. Speculating is fun and soothing somehow.

I find it hard to believe that Brad has been an abusive father all these years and the incident last week is the only one. That's not to say that it's true or false, just that it's not the only part of the story. My own suspicion is that, whatever bad judgement they've both had as parents over the years, it's come to a head as the kids have gotten older. Brad and Angelina have likely had an undercurrent of issues in their marriage, and used the public image of their big, happy family as cover. Earlier this year there were rumors they were thinking about adding a seventh child, the thought that came immediately to mind was "why?"

And again, with the announcement that she wanted to divorce "for the family" it's hard to believe that's the real reason. Wouldn't the report to CPS be a story before the divorce announcement? That doesn't seem fishy to anyone else?

I think things definitely reached a breaking point, but I don't believe that only one of the spouses brought them there.

And nothing says "physically abused" the children.

It says yelled at them and got physical.

Getting physical could have been physically putting your wild out of control kid into their seat and buckling them against their will so the plane could land.

If Angelina is a wacky let the kids run the house parent, I could see her or one of her servants calling over something like that if she was trying to create divorce dirt.

Again it makes me think this was a "supervised" visit.
