A Cathartic Wake
"In a fit of paroxysmal emotional purging the hidden plain truth emerges. The entitled culture feels vulnerable and threatened by the new culture defined by preparation and hard work. |
Are you saying Chineese and Koreans have no morals or ethics? |
I'm so sorry for the parents with borderline kids who either made it thru heavy prepping or didn't make it and complaining LOL
|
Why the sorrow? Both camps got exactly what they deserved. |
I recognize you for other posts. You are truly strange and need help. LOL |
There are about 30 topics on the NOVA public school board. Interestingly, 99 percent of these topics/threads relate to AAP and various admission test scores. Who wants to bet that 99 percent of NOVA prep their children in some form or fashion for these tests and 99 percent of those who deny this are liars- including you?

People do tend to assume that other people's thoughts and actions are the same as their own. |
Since I don't have children; there is no action and thus no assumptions in this regard. But, to assume this activity is an anomaly or outlier in NOVA is near certain death by suffocation unless you exhume your head buried in the Potomac banks. |
I have a question.
If someone has a child that shows potential for baseball, and this kid is going to try out for the travel team, would a parent be be commended or criticized for doing batting practice with them in the backyard? Should the parent feel public pressure to NOT practice with their child? Maybe coaches should ask each child before the tryout - "Have your parents practiced this with you?" and take note of that........ Maybe there should be a sports thread called prepping/scamming baseball tryouts......... |
Excellent point! |
Double Excellent! My kids play sports, and I swear some of those parents are crazy crazy crazy. Way crazier than any parent I know about AAP or TJ prep. Yet there's never any criticism about that. |
Uh...didn't YOU just criticize it? |
Haha, I see that analogy all the time. ![]() |
Haha, I see that analogy all the time. ![]() SHOWING KIDS TEST QUESTIONS ahead of time? = impossible It would be called cheating. The analogy to that would be a fielder knowing exactly where the ball was going to arrive. There is no way to show kids actual test questions. The testing company does not even release old test problems.... No wonder you are cynical if you were confused about that! |
