4. Sadly, your kid is ECNL/MLS Next level and really wants to do it rather than just playing for Vienna Phoenix or McLean Green or even FPYC Blue.

What are your options?

5. Realize you have no good options, return to option 3 and remove “don’t want to” and replace it with “reluctantly”

Also curious re options. Welcome thoughts on how ODP helps fill the gap. How many ECNL or MLS Next players also play ODP? I don't see it very much, which makes me wonder where the valuable exposure from ODP comes from.

If Arlington goes GA next year then FVU will be fine. They’ll survive by attrition.

Arlington isn’t going GA, because their boys are not going to get accepted into MLSNext.
want to bet. Arlington isn't dumb they know where money is.. they been bleeding boys to MLSNext and MLS Pro Academies. They club has both the money and power to jump over.
BP let it go. Its not happening. No one is being frightened into changing clubs. Game on next season as well. If anything ECNL boys in this area should be put on notice. Arl is bringing the heat.

This is a boy? bring him to loudon/nva. Research witch mlsn coaches play possession and go reach out while you still have time. If you need help there are families that went to bsc that can give pointers on how they wiggled out of the club situation. Movements are time sensitive however. Speaking of which if your kid is that good have him try BSC. Might have some commuting options if he is good enough to make the cut.

Pretty much the same if this is a girl. But I would have to disagree on Arl playing kickball with all the girls teams. Good luck but dont sit on your hands.

IMO players dont get returns or real competition until florida. Maybe one hop prior. Sorry not sorry. It really stinks because it goes from 0-100 once east region players end up playing talent from other regions.

It’s so goofy when Arlington/NVA parents think they’re talking directly to coaches.

Is that better?

Actually isn’t far fetched considering he does post on here.

Late on this as well. Anything is possible. There are always options. Have to be willing to explore them.

I don’t understand the money argument. I’m pretty sure Arlington has a full NL and RL boys team. How will getting HG/Academy make them more money?

it won’t. And MLSN isn’t stupid. Success in NL doesn’t always equal success in HG etc. Local clubs have not had it easy.

ODP is an absolute joke. None of the top kids do it. And parents of players act like its a flex. But 95% of the kids shouldn't be there
