When is Congress going to grow a backbone and put a STOP to the appalling abuse of power by the American Gestapo?

Trump and Noem are bringing this nation dangerously close to civil war.

Congress needs a capable man to step up and be the leader this nation needs right now.

We need someone like Obama to step forward and quietly take hold of the reins on this runaway horse.

The bill passed the House but needs support from at least seven Senate Democrats, who are now under more pressure than ever to block it.

"The Senate should reject the DHS funding bill next week until significant reforms are added to the bill. We need a complete overhaul," Rep. Seth Magaziner (D-R.I.) said in a post on X.


"The Senate must vote against funding CBP and ICE. The House must immediately take steps to impeach Kristi Noem," Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), the ranking member of the Homeland Security Committee, said in a statement.


The DHS bill is expected to come packaged together with legislation funding several other agencies, including the Departments of Defense and Health and Human Services, meaning Democrats would have to shut down a large portion of the government in order to block it.

Still, that's exactly what some Senate Democrats are pushing for, with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) writing on X: "Congress should not fund this version of ICE"

Well do we really need RFK's HHS? What they are doing is more hazardous than not and the people would be better served without the damage HHS is currently inflicting upon the public. DoD should not receive funding until the drunk guy provide an official budget and audit. So where's the loss?

I’m actually the OP and I’m not making it up. I got that from the live feed on the Minnesota star tribune page. They have reporters on the scene so that’s who I’m personally following to get updates.

“Department of Homeland Security officials said the man fatally shot by federal agents this morning in south Minneapolis was armed with a gun and two magazines.

The agency has not publicly identified the man or released details about what led up to the shooting, including how agents came into contact with him or what actions preceded the use of force.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said the man has died. A video shows agents were wrestling with man moments before the shooting.”

No one's said he never had a gun. He had a gun that was bolstered that he never once touched or reached for. He was shot repeatedly in the back after the agents had taken this gun. His gun was never a threat to them.

I just know it’s not Schumer or Jeffries. They need to go. I also don’t think we need a showboat either (Newsom). Someone responsible and well spoken with integrity and is also able to withstand the pressure.

You're right. Another officer already took his gun (which was not in the murder victim's hand) and jogged away. Several seconds later, he was executed with 10+ shots to the back.
