They are not a B team and that team whips NL regularly.

Hero’s Green is the A team and any other color would be a non-A letter of the alphabet.

It’s super important to take things literally. Probably a MDDC parent who is also heavily invested in how the “team rankings” system works.

Probably a Hero's Green parent who does not appreciate the suggestion Hero's White is an A team.

Hero's Green parents are actually very supportive of the White team and girls/parents from both teams are friends. And even though they are a "B" team, they are still good enough to beat BLC & MDDC. The Hero's organization does a better job of developing all of their players and the girls understand that you have to work together to win games.

Hero's White is not a B team any way you slice it.

Hero’s White, by definition, is a B team. They would get thumped by their A team. As is the sad state of lacrosse in the DMV, they would be an A team if they were out of Bethesda, McLean or NOVA.

Stars had one sub and took MDDC to overtime? How many MDDC girls were missing? I thought MDDC was supposed to be a “Dream Team” the way their parents were talking about it.

The entire team was there. They just got smoked and the parents on the sideline were irate.

This isn’t the “Dream Team”… it’s the “nightmare team” from 2004 that’s full of talent but couldn’t get coached to win gold. MDDC has great girls… future D1 players. Who gets the blame if the team doesn’t live up to their potential?

Yeah, it’s obvious what the problem is but parents who have a vested interest in the coaches (ie their daughters are favorites) have a stranglehold on the club not changing. Certainly one family doesn’t want to lose their nanny coach who houses and drives the girls to practices and games. Best thing for this team is to get new ones next year otherwise it will be rinse/wash/repeat of all the previous years. But hey at least they are subbing now— guess they had to placate new pride parents (some who didn’t even pay dues). And I hear it’s not working out so well for the og families.

The coach is great but yes it falls to the coach if it doesn’t work out. If a team manages to get the best girls from MDDC, BLC, and Stars together, that 29 team will be tough to beat.

Sounds like your kid was cut last year. It’s been months, get over it.

So the Pride girls weren’t enough? That move last year imploded the 29 pride org and you’re saying they still need more talent? I think the well has been poisoned and all 29 parents are wary of that club (including current families of mddc)

Nope, but I DO have history there, and it wasn’t pleasant (And I am hardly an island as the list of disgruntled parents is not short.) So it stung a bit when they went for Pride as it DID directly impact my family as the club blew up. I thought it was a classless move for middle school lacrosse. Guess I am not cut out to hang with the big boys who think all is fair in love and lacrosse.

That’s called Capital

BLC (which generally beats M&D DC when they play) losing to Hero's White is not a good sign. I thought the 29 class in the area was "loaded" and the 28s were "a down year". That's what the 29 parents keep telling me.

Neither the 2028 Pride nor Stars LB teams ever lost to B-team Hero's White. And they both won by 8-11 goals in their 8th grade year. Just sayin'...

What club? The statement was about the best talent in the area and where they all end up. The girls are the focus not the clubs. Put the seltzer down for the day, you are now in timeout.

Historically, yes you are correct. And if it is Capital that gets all of them, the team will be great.

“Went for Pride” = they took Pride girls over yours. Which means you are a disgruntled parent of a kid that was cut last year however you try to dress it. Get over it.
