Also the girl that was being beaten up by two presumably BCC girls. Seriously traumatizing.

Hearing her screaming in the videos as the two girls attack her and no one coming to help her was seriously disturbing. Horrific
I am think if that not on the ground too. So unbelievable

It’s a stereotype that the bethesda public high schools are all rich segregated schools. 17% of the kids at BCC are considered “economically disadvantaged.” It’s 13% at WJ. Yes that’s less than McPS average (about 27%) but it’s still a significant percentage of kids coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. The one teen who has been identified was from a single parent household, mom a bus driver. These two schools are more diverse than people think.

Correct.

There are bad apples at all the schools. But some schools have more and really rotten violent ones, who feel entitled because of misguided Defund the Police community policies.

Ok. But Einstein (46% low-income) and Blair (42% low-income), two much more diverse schools, just had a great football game with no fights or attacks. None that I can remember in recent years.

Planned mob assaulters in ski masks should be publicly named, regardless of age. If under age 18 their mother, father and caretaker home should also be named.

In fact the younger the violent assaulter, the more psychotic and dangerous they may be.

Well, you need to take that up with the state. MD had laws on how minors are treated in the legal system.

Lots of people have written the state and county after the violent mob assault beat down.

You want your kid sitting next to someone who beats people up for sport by the subway stops?

If you are capable of making adult decisions to assault someone you should be charged and get jail time. Parents should too.

Completely true, but one thing to point out is the BCC/WJ assault (I'll say "assault" since that is what it is), was not at the game, or really related to football in any way. It was near the Bethesda metro.

Apparently decency and compassion aren't a function of wealth.

Mcps had security and staff on property. This is not an mcps issue but a police issue and parenting. That teen had a history of violence and the parent failed to supervise and they should be charged with neglect.
