I agree, but my DD does know a teen girl who has legit gone 3 times already. Twice on the east coast and then just now again in LA. DD is like “I just want to go once!” |
I sat through the queue and got nosebleed seats for Philadelphia and felt so lucky. Yet my kid knows so many who paid resale in the $1000s and had floor seats and went to multiple shows. I’m sure there are people who want to go and then plenty who want a piece of this and will re-sell. Sad. |
It could be legit. My nephew in LA went to 2 TS shows there, night 1 & 2. Not sure what he was doing there since he's not even a TS fan, but he definitely went to 2 shows. |
Yeah, I know people who have gone to several. My DD is a huge fan and so frustrated because we tried so hard to get tix and didn’t but couldn’t pay 1000s. She just got a code for one of the 2024 dates so crossing fingers. We’ll have to travel but we can combine with a visit to family in that area we would have made at some point anyhow so I’m willing to pay for the plane tix. Hope it works out to get the tix! |
Don’t you think you’re an a$$hole for taking spots from others that haven’t even been able to get tickets yet? I sure do. |
Did you guys see they are staggering the onsale times for each individual date? So since we got the Sunday show, our sale isn't until 3pm, Saturday is 1pm, and Friday is 11am? I hope ticketmaster doesn't implode before our time comes but I'm not hopeful. |
Fab, good luck! |
I know a Mom who has gone twice and just got a code. She's planning to go again. People follow their fave artists all the time, its just harder to get the TS tickets right now as opposed to other artists. |
DP, I didn't get a code but its a lottery system. There's no taking spots. You sound like a bitter betty. |
Emails that have previously purchased tickets to THIS EXACT TOUR should be excluded from the lottery. I don't know why they weren't, it would be completely fair and you know it. (DP.) |
I know someone who has gone to three shows and got a code for 2024 and will go again.
Agree it's a lottery and if people are fans and get lucky enough to go multiple times, good for them. BUT since it's a lottery, that also means if you get tickets (or can simply afford the big $$$$ to buy on resale market), it's also in extremely poor taste to brag about it or to act like you're a bigger fan than someone who didn't get tickets. It's luck and/or privilege (often both) and is not a reflection on someone's worth as a human or their level of interest in TS. I do think it would have been cool of Swift had figured out a way to preference people who had not yet been to a show for the 2024 lottery. Or if she could somehow reserve a section of tickets for each show for same day ticket sales, and they'd just go to people who lined up on a first come, first serve basis (which would preference people who live in those cities as opposed to people who could travel, as well as people devoted enough to stand in line all day). I feel bad for fans, especially young ones, who really want to see just one show on this tour and won't because they got unlucky in the lottery or can't afford it. Especially when they have friends and classmates bragging about going to multiple shows on social media. I mean, that's life, but it still sucks. |
Blocking emails that previously purchased tickets would be a start. Would that catch everyone who has already been? Of course not, but it would be a start and quite simple to do. They didn't bother and don't care. I'm sure the bots will take this one over too. |

Did anyone get tickets to Miami - Friday show, onsale now? I have a code for Miami - Sunday. |
You are disgusting. |
