How much does the average person pay to go? |
Are any of the shows coming up at outdoor arenas? Hundreds of people are “attending” her concerts in the parking lots. Actually looks like a ton of fun. It’s a whole party out there. If you can do that, go! |
FYI there are no bad seats at this show. |
Aren't they selling obstructed seats? |
They are. Those are the cheapest seats. |
Well those are going for ONLY 600 or so. The 1800 may be high up but still amazing views. |
No they’re $1800 too. Show them to me for 600 and I’d be very happy to buy them. |
They won't come down much if at all - you're looking at at least $5-6k for tickets, hotel, meals... sounds completely insane to me. How old is your DD? A year or two from now she may have moved on from Taylor Swift. FOMO is fueling a lot of this. |
Yes, I completely realize this. We live in nyc so we wouldn’t have to travel but $6k for 3 tickets seems completely nuts to me (as does 2k for 1 ticket!!). |
You only live once and she will remember you forever as the great mom who made her youth dream come true. 64 year old guy here. |
Are you insane? 6k for tickets to a show? Put it to her college tuition so she isn’t in debt. |
It’s ridiculous. I don’t think they’ll come down. Save your money and skip it. |
No, I’m not insane. And I’m only even somewhat considering it because all of our needs (including her college fund) are fully met. But I still think it’s insane and I am trying to not raise completely spoiled kids. |
Right now Stubhub has tickets behind the stage for $1,700. I love Taylor. I went Sunday in Nashville and I stayed up until 1:30 AM in the rain, got three hours of sleep, caught a flight home, and had an absolute BLAST. I wouldn't pay $1,800/person for the experience though. |
I would do this |
