“The green narrative”?

You mean not polluting and destroying our own planet? You think that’s just a “narrative”? SMH

I bet your own right wing media told you to believe that lol. Brainwashed.

Yes, but the way to “go green” isn’t to bankrupt everyone.

Good, I’m glad $7 / gallon is coming. It should have come twenty years to force a change in our energy policy and reliance on fossil fuels.

Good thing that isn’t happening then huh?

Which party refuses to subsidize electric vehicles? Doesn’t that same party also fully support oil subsidies? That is the reality.

Like when Biden burned 83 tons of Co2 flying to Texas earlier this week for a photo op? Hypocrisy doesn't exist with the ruling class

He's POTUS, Dummy. He's not going to rule from on high from a golden throne in DC. He travels the country and beyond, as every POTUS has done before him. This is manufactured outrage, if there ever was one.

Other parts of the world have dealt with $5, $6, $7, $8 a gallon gas prices for years.

Anonymous wrote:Oh we could reduce demand by asking people to go back to working from home. Do that and you could easily remove all of Russian oil production and prices would still fall.

That doesn’t work for a large portion of the population. I understand it does for wealthy DC area people though and how their needs matter most.

So you are saying gas would be going this high without Russia invading Ukraine cutting off their pipelines and then being sanctioned itself?

mmmmmokay.

we are at the mercy of authoritarian regimes because Biden has decimated domestic oil production.

Poor people won’t buy Teslas, that’s dcum’s solution. They apparently want the government to subsidize electric cars for millions of Americans?

We live in a capitalist society fueled by gasoline. Pay up or pick yourself up by the bootstraps.

I agree in principal with PP and believe he should get out there on the road. I also see the hypocrisy on not practicing what he preaches and will continue to point this out.

Where’s my meat? Where’s my produce? Why aren’t you filling your trucks to deliver these goods to me? Where are the essential workers during a pandemic? If I have to go out, I will get sick. NOT acceptable?

Do you people hear yourselves?

Speaking of manufactured crisis, the Paris Climate Accords exempt China and India from reducing their co2 levels until 2030. We all know that this won't happen, regardless of what the accord says.
