Why is the percentage here higher than other area schools?

You realize that 14% is actually pretty low, right?

It's very low for MCPS. And it's probably due to the amount of apartments and condos in the service area as opposed to other WJ cluster schools.

The remaining 86% live in multi-million dollar homes. It's fine.

Here's the rest of the cluster. As the PP said, it's in line with the schools in the cluster where Apartments and Condos weren't zoned into the neighboring ES cachement.

Ashburton: 11.8
Garrett Park: 16.3
Farmland: 7.3
Wyngate < 5
KP 5.3
