There are much bigger issues at Luxmanor than FARMS rate. Why are you worried about this?

What are the bigger issues at Lux?

Lot of wealthy Trump supporters who will do whatever necessary to keep out FARMS kids

A brief list:

Next 2-3 years will be disrupted due to reconstruction, so kids will be in holding school.

Classes are overcrowded. 25+ kids/class.

Teachers tell me that they are extremely stressed by number of short-term ESOL students. Lots of international students attend Lux for 1-3 years. Great for diversity, but takes up a huge amount of teachers' time, especially since student turnover is so frequent.

PTA support modest at best, despite best efforts of some parents.

Neighborhood is changing dramatically. Older homes in Luxmanor being torn down and replaced with $2MM+ homes. Newcomers don't see eye-to-eye with many of the other residents (and vice-versa). This is starting to be reflected in the school.

My child goes to Farmland, and it's the same story there. Don't get me wrong, diversity is great, but I'd like for my kid who's not moving anywhere in the nearest future to be challenged more in preparation for middle school.

Maybe Trump will require that the Embassies and World Bank provide direct funding to local publics that take their kids or build their own school. Contact BoE, Councilmembers. Invite to your local neighborhood association.
