Is there a list of college acceptances for Wilson?

Just curious where the top decile (and/or quartile) ends up. Is it really Yale or jail?

My senior's friends so far have been accepted into Yale, Brown, Cornell, Tulane, Middelbury, Temple, Pitt. Others didn't apply early.

The Yale part is more true than the jail part.

Mind you, this is where they actually went. Kids get into schools hoping for financial aid packages that may not work out, or they get a full ride to a less prestigious school and take it (smart move).

Wow! My kids are at a DC private. perhaps I should consider Wilson for high school. Serious question, are rich white kids discriminated against at Wilson? I'm not a troll this a legitimate question. I realize that Wilson has all sorts of kids from all sorts of backgrounds but it is predominately AA and just as an AA family would understandably worry about their child being discriminated against I have the same worry about my anglo kid.

You are mistaken. It is 39% black. No single race is predominant.

Actually they have an advantage when it comes to being in the best classes with the best teachers.
One of the counselors LOVES White students, especially male students.

Ok so anyone here switch from private to Wilson? Thoughts? Feeling like private is a bit over rated right now. I have three kids and its a hefty price tag. Would love to stay home but can t because of that private school tuition. Since I'm from Dc and know what DC public school were like in the 80's it's very hard for me to shake that idea. Thanks!

I'm assuming you didn't attend Wilson in the 80s. I have many friends that are successful attorneys, professors, doctors, etc that graduated from Wilson in late 80s/early 90s. A lot that went Ivy.
