The Illuminati -- Is this a thing in elementary school?

My 9 year old is suddenly OBSESSED with the Illuminati. All his friends are talking about it, apparently. Is this just my kid's class? Or is your kid talking about it, too? It's driving me nuts. As much as I show and tell him it's not real, he's just completely obsessed.

I was wondering too--8 year at a DC private. He showed me a dollar bill and said it has illuninati markings on it. Could this be true?

My 10 year old, too. I asked him what, exactly the Illuminati are, and he rolled his eyes at me and said "you KNOW Mom, the ILLUMINATI. Its like, stuff."
