Once they get to middle school it's game over so if you want to take trips that require a few days of school missed do it now! |

Yes I would...but you will get a lot of different answers here. I'm not sure why you decided to ask that question on an online anonymous forum.
Just do what you're going to do and live with it. Every decision doesn't need to be outsourced for discussion. |

| Sure. My fourth grader competes in an activity nationally and may compete internationally. Our school is accommodating as long as we tell them which days he'll miss school so his teachers can make sure he keeps up with his schoolwork. |
