Would this be a dealbreaker for you?

I have a friend who is in her late 30's who has a suspended driver's license and stopped paying her credit card bills. She lives in the city so does not need to drive and has no car. She recently met a fabulous guy who lives in the suburbs and they are getting serious. DH seems to think this is a dealbreaker and any financially stable man would run from her once he finds out. I mentioned to her that I think she should fix her license situation and now she is mad at me. I told her it would be better for her to take care of it before he finds out.
