SCOTUS

While everyone is bitching and complaining about Donald Trump being our next President do you all realize what will happen to the SC?

One seat is vacant.
RBG is 83.
Kennedy is 80.
Breyer is 78.

In 8 short years the Spureme Court of our nation will be 7 Conservative Judges against 2 single white middle aged females. Your world, as you know it, will be changed for the next 35 years.

Curious why you felt the need to remark on the 2 women's marital status.

+1
Dems love to sort people into groups. The usual identity politics.

Nope, I've known this all along. Just trying to get you Liberals to STFU about the EC and Russia.

Although I agree with you in concept, OP, Trump is a one-term president. He is already 70 himself.

Replacing Scalia should happen immediately, if not 9 months ago. Replacing the others will probably happen sometime in the next 3 years. The Republicans started a dumb precedent, though, of writing off the last year of the president's term.

And, to be contrarian, "liberal" or "conservative" picks rarely work out as intended. Pick a wise justice and leave the rest up to them.

Why do you think OP is a Democrat? Sounds more like a Repub taunting the liberal side with the ridiculous prediction of "eight years" of Trump.

Pence is far worst than the Donald. If you are going to be afraid about crazy right-wing nut job conservatism, think MP.

You don't see anything unusual about intellectuals not finding a mate or willing to reproduce? How many single Presidents have you seen?

Why are you assuming they're all going to die? AVERAGE life expectancy for an 80 year old is 8-10 years or so. They could all well be alive and kicking in 8 years. I know plenty of people who remained sharp and lively into their 90s.

I believe we have had two presidents who had not married. Former SC Justice Souter was not married. I'm wondering if you hold men to the same standards as you do women. And no I do not see anything wrong with people who do not want to reproduce. I find it appalling that so many people who do reproduce and they should not have. And, I am not the person you responded to. I simply find your way of thinking infantile, sexist, and just plain stupid.

Every so called conservative judge eventually votes like a progressive. Its only a matter of time. Nothing will change LGBTQ marriage or Row vs Wade. There maybe small changes around the margins. The country marches to the tune of the progressives. Nothing will change that.

Not everyone is about reproducing, especially the super smart ones. Its usually the dumb ones that are desperate to produce dumber offsprings.
