Poor kid is very self-conscious about it. This is a new thing, since he likes a girl in his class. Suddenly he is taking the initiative to shower every day without my nagging him and using cetaphil twice a day.
Any tips to remove the blackhead? Does a dermatologist have to do it? Thanks. |

Try a very gentle face scrub like St. Yves or Simple brand--you can find them at target. Probably once in the evening is sufficient and not to over do it. Then once he pats his face dry, swab some whitchazel to tighten the pores.
Just make sure the exfoliating ingredient isn't those plastic micro beads--they end up in the oceans and cause turtles to starve to death b/c they eat them vs. the actual food that they need. |
| A single blackhead? Help him extract it after a shower. Done. |
| Biore pore strip. |
| Wtf how is this a question. Squeeze it out. |
Make sure it's not a physical exfoliant of any kind--that actually irritates the skin. Use a cleanser with salicylic acid, like Neutrogena's Acne Wash. Don't scrub too hard. Boil water, turn off the heat, and have him hold his face over the pot with a towel tented over his head to keep the steam in. |
| Tea tree oil will help. |
These are what I gave to my son. His nose is looking much better. He also uses Oxy wipes. |
| A single blackhead - pop it. |

Yes, extract it before it gets so big that he ends up with a big permanent pore.

+1 My husband uses them and also has an extractor from Sephora. |
| does your husband like his extractor? |
Biore didn't do anything for my DD. The extractor was the key. And actually washing her face. |
