This is odd because a few years ago I was reading Good housekeeping article about the First Ladies at the hairdressers while under a dryer. They had a note about wanting to have every First Lady on the cover at some point. They said that they had reached out to the wh and never heard back. I also read somewhere recently that she wants to be paid for being on the covers so that’s why she isn’t.

None of this is confirmed just things I think I read once upon a time.

Whether read or not, celebrity fashion covers come with interviews. Mel doesn't want to do those she doesn't get the fashion shoots, pretty simple.

In the post about Orange’s concern about this issue in the Politics forum, someone posted her nude photo shoot from years ago and...those boobs are tragic! I think she looks okay with clothes on most of the time, but isn’t the point of breast implants that large (and clearly purchased to please a specific man) that they look good naked? I don’t get it. They look awful even with studio lighting and retouching, they must look like superglue and grapefruits in real life.

Mel and Donald just want her photographed and on the cover as if she’s just a model. But magazines that out the First Lady on the cover want an interview - that’s what sells. Mel can’t be bothered with an interview so no cover.
