It probably includes human trolls to sites like this Russia’s increasingly sophisticated propaganda machinery — including thousands of botnets, teams of paid human “trolls,” and networks of Web sites and social-media accounts — echoed and amplified right-wing sites across the Internet as they portrayed Clinton as a criminal hiding potentially fatal health problems and preparing to hand control of the nation to a shadowy cabal of global financiers. The effort also sought to heighten the appearance of international tensions and promote fear of looming hostilities with nuclear-armed Russia. |

Ugh. So disturbing. And as much as I hate to think that an audit/recount could change things, the fact that it was reported on RT first gives me pause that they are just trying to make use question our entire democratic system.

| Seems to me that this article could have made the point in 80 percent shorter fashion. |

What's even scarier is how this is just getting lost in the noise, no biggie.

I think it's being actively ignored and/or pooh-poohed by Republicans who want Donald to have won fair and square. I can honestly say that if roles were reversed (obvious collusion with the Russians by one candidate, one sided hacking, the Russian propaganda machine, and possible vote hacking) I would not want to claim a Clinton victory. I'm mad at the Russians - but I'm more mad at the millions of spineless Reps who evidently think, eh, no biggie. |
| Week before the election the dems were saying the election could not be rigged and republicans needed to accept the results |
Silly Democrats. They thought they were talking about an election conducted by and for Americans. |
| NPR says it's a liberal in CA that's king of fake news. Funny rhat |
You'll note the topic subject by OP is also fake. What WAPO claims is Russians are simply echoing the 'falsities, not creating them |

| LOL Who needs Russians when our domestic paranoid schitzos are in full swing? |
| Unfortunately, fake news seems to take very little effort to perpetuate. People are so quick to believe what conforms to their beliefs regardless of how ridiculous. |
| I'm enjoying people swallowing whole, a fake news story about fake news. |
| I like that this thread about the problem is about 80% moron. Or Russian bot. The problem thrives to prove its existence. |
