Definitely wasn’t DB. Lol hes busy w his new situations to care to post in here. I say that as a Parent who is in the know and agrees w that post 100% It was all messy last season and the smartest thing he could do was bow out. I find it hilarious that parents are upset about it and him vs PL and the org that switched to GA.

12s are a good squad in a tough spot. My guess is after nxt season they are vda bound if parents can get out of their own ways

I was minding my own business in the food truck table area at LSP and overheard one of these conversations, a parent with his kid present lobbying DB for more playing time for his kid. DB was in the awkward position of "yeah, I get it but..." I'm sure this happens on every team so you know...

yup. Parents meddling is the norm and he was being babysat on the sidelines and lacked autonomy w both teams. Being babysat on the sidelines would annoy any adult and add the move to GA….. and his exit shouldn’t have been a surprise. The USYS call ups were not his own(looks at PL&MR) and it was clear as day who was calling the shots. For example w the 11s one kid that was called up never played an ecnl game in her life and had just joined the team. Parents cry, throw tantrums and holler… nxt round their kids are chosen. Last year was the only good year they ever had. I would chalk that up to NS. Just like I would chalk up the only successful team to DB this year. It is kind of amazing how teams do well with good coaching.

Rev will def compete with NVA next year and will probably be better overall. Heck from what is happening internally LS GA teams may also be able to compete with NVA next year in some age groups. Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out. Rev may be the place to go after next year.

good luck starting over in that other league. Giving up a starting spot mommy and daddy cried for to have to earn ur spot will be a different experience for a lot of kids. Loudoun parents cant wield the entitlement sword in Arl or VDa. Maybe not at fvu either.

Rev is where the garbage is tossed & where leftovers cut from other clubs go get some playing time. I’d hate to be a Revolution dad/mom and brag about FCV saving our faces lol

when you lose to rev teams i will bump this thread. Mark it. Your top players are gone. Not enough time to bring new kids up to speed and talent of the departing players. Many of who went to vrsc.

Sure, Rev maybe be able to handle LS, If that happens congrats on the baby steps. But NVA? That’s a different league. Maybe earn a spot in the grown-up brackets before the trash talk.
