Really? They never have large tournaments at this location> THey have not known the location and number of fields and and number of teams for weeks and weeks and weeks? You poor thing. IT is soccer tournament which are held all the time for ever - not a space launch for crying out loud.

First, teams were still playing games that impacted who qualified as recently as last week.

Second, like any tournament, many teams have one coach with multiple teams in the tournament. The tournament organizers have to juggle the schedule based on conflicts among the coaches and their teams. Yeah, this is not rocket science, but any time you are coordinating with multiple people, some of whom are not the most responsive, there will be delays.

IF they are incoviveninging the entire huge tournament to accomodate a few coaches that is their choice and I hope all the frustrated customer make that choice worth it.

In ECNL's defense, it's a big event, with alot of politicking for advantage with the schedule. The majority of teams in the country will attend and you have playoffs plus multiple layers of showcases beneath. Still, I agree, you could have scheduled alot of this well in advance. It looks to me like ECNL is way understaffed for preparations of this magnitude.

Agreed. The schedule could have been released in advance of the draw. This whole "show" is just silly. All I want to know is where and when the first match is so I can make sensible travel plans.

Politicking for advantage? Come on please. It is a youth soccer tourney not the world cup. Who won it last time at whatever age group? No one knows! And that is as it should be. Just give out the schedule and get on with it.

There's no reason the schedule isn't out. They have the days each team will play and how can't they setup "A1 vs A4..." etc weeks ago? Sure, some coaches have multiple teams, but all games are at same place and they can reschedule 1 or 3 games in total. It would be a very, very slim chance 1 coach has two games as exact same time for a 7 day tournament. Abomination
