Yeah, I don't think she means people with obvious deformities. She means normal feet with longer second toes.

I have longer 2nd toes and I truly had no idea this was a thing for people. I have nice legs and feet and I wear sexy (and non-sexy) open-toe shoes all spring and summer.

Never had any complaints, including from DH who is kind of a foot guy!
