No PVI players play for his club

Yeah, it’s some low end club for bottom-tier VA Public school kids. It’s like the MDX of Virginia.

That is not correct decent team but no HS age teams

It's only 2025s and 2026s so I hope not. You must be thinking of the 2027 Cavalier Hoco team.

Youth parents, stay out of here. This isn’t about club. PVI, Prep, Bullis, and DeMatha are playing today. Nothing will be streamed but I’m definitely interested to see if these teams can dominate the weaker Red session.

Bullis beat Potomac 9-2 and MSJ beat DeMatha 11-8. Looks like the Stags have a lot of work to do in order to replace a strong class of '21.

its summer ball... don't take too much out of these results.

I agree to some extent, especially in close games where more kids play that might not play in regular season. But they give us some info. Giving up 11 in a 45 min running time game shows DeMatha is going to miss that goalie.

Prep is killing teams. Should have played White session. PVI against Bergen Catholic will be interesting game. Potomac doesn't seem very competitive. I know they used to have some solid squads.

It will be Prep Bullis one more time.

The field in the red session is rather weak. The competition for the White session looks to be loaded.

The NHSLS is turning into a money grab now.

3 sessions now plus a JV division.

MSJ and Potomac were invited to play in the event.

So true any school can attend now. What was great about NHSLS when it started invite top teams that never played each other. Made for some great match

No Kidding, Money Grab? Summer Lacrosse? Naw, Can't be. All these summer tournament operators and Club Coaches are interested in developing players.

NHSLS is just like every other Summer Tournament before - start small and exclusive, attract some very good programs. Get bigger and bigger as fast as possible to make a ton of money. Collapse under the weight of too many teams, too many venues, and slackening interest from the coaches of the best HS programs, stop the tournament.

Champ Camp anyone?

I don’t know why everyone keeps calling these events a money grab. You don’t have to participate.

The Red session was weaker last year too. PVI playing Salisbury and Bullis in semis to likely play Prep. There are some terrible teams but the top ones are pretty good. DeMatha looks like they've taken a step back. Not sure if that's an easy job. They don't even have their own field.
