I have given away clothing that I did not need at the end of the trip. I remember doing that once and making a woman's day. It was a shared experience I will never forget.
If you are doing commerce there, you are helping. You are contributing to their economy. Show gratitude, grace, and respect. Don't view the people as other or underprivileged. You are a guest and the place that you are visiting is their home. Don't forget this. Learn and be humble. |
