Travel to third world countries

I tell you this: the developing countries may have a better elementary and secondary education than the US, and that is what makes people “rich”.

It is difficult to enjoy a visit to a developing country when it is Christmas, and the children are dying in the streets

Children dying in the streets. Oh my, such drama.

What would Jesus do? Yes, the Caribbean or shopping in the Christmas markets for sure!

I have given away clothing that I did not need at the end of the trip. I remember doing that once and making a woman's day. It was a shared experience I will never forget.

If you are doing commerce there, you are helping. You are contributing to their economy. Show gratitude, grace, and respect. Don't view the people as other or underprivileged. You are a guest and the place that you are visiting is their home. Don't forget this.

Learn and be humble.
