I put it in and its heard nothing. Makes no sense. |
Looking at the website, it could be the medication I'm on as it says wait three months and stop taking it (which isn't happening) from the last date. |

PP who is not getting contacted after preregistering: I would also rec'd signing up at Luminis, Holy Cross, whatever local hospitals/clinics you have near you. I contacted Luminis on the 31st & just heard back that I can schedule an appt through them (but I already got one at Salisbury).

And can we also stop asking people how they were eligible? We can all find the eligibility guidelines for our state and/or county on our own. It is rude to ask people. My sister has type 2 diabetes and is not overweight and she does not like to tell anyone about the diabetes. She has been asked so any times how she is eligible! I'm sure there are teens in similar situations!! |
Of course there are eligible kids and younger folks. But, there are also folks lying to get their kids vaccinated. |
Its the medication I'm on. I called now and they said to wait and do it at my regular hospital, not clinic when they offer it so I can be monitored better. |
I just want to commend you for this thoughtful and helpful response, PP. You were muck kinder to the judgmental and aggressively helpless PP than she deserved. |

Do they require ID for a teenager? My son doesn’t have a license or passport yet?
Are kids going in groups together? Do they require a parent there? My son has an opportunity to go with another teen who has id (salsbury walk in). Is this going to work? |
You need parent there to consent if you are under 18. I accompanied by 17 year old and they asked me twice if so consented. Passport for ID likely be fine. |
| I know several teens who are eligible bc they work in grocery store, as lifeguards or in daycares. |
| Don't forget ADD and other intellectual disabilities. |

All 16+ are eligible now. We just had a good experience with M&T Stadium mass vax in Baltimore for our 16-year-old.
1. Used the link to confirm eligibility: https://www.vaccination-registration.com/umms/stadium 2. Scheduled an appointment. When I checked, there were none listed on the website, so I called instead and was able to get an appointment. (The page says: "Call our phone line at 410-779-9507, which may have appointments available at this time.") 3. Went to the site. It was well-organized and had no delays. (They say to come inside no earlier than 15 minutes before the appointment.) They were giving out Pfizer today (there was a big sign out front). 4. This site is clearly well versed in what to do with minors. After the initial check-in, they sent us to a special line so that someone could check us in and let me sign the consent form. They did ask for both of our IDs. (DS has a learner's permit, so we used that.) For questions about what other ID is acceptable, I'd use the phone number and ask. |

Just register on the MD mass vax site. Try late at night or early in the morning. Try with your city first. If nothing is available, but in Annapolis (options at Six Flags, M&T Stadium, Regency in Waldorf) will populate if available. If neither of those options work, put in Salisbury. Then finally try entering Hagerstown. If nothing pops up just try every few hours.
