They should not be playing in this weather this morning like they are now. The tournament directors are fools to have not pushed the schedule back for the weather to clear out.
But hey it is Jeff Cup we must play we must attend. |

Showcases are by definition for individuals. No college recruits an entire team.
Ecnl events are actually problematic in this way as they have the showcase games count towards the seeding in the playoffs. This interferes with using the showcases for showcasing players and makes it too much about the result. That said, this year's Jeff cup in not good. Many coaches not allowed to come and it is not even set up for them to watch a live stream of the game so the showcasing aspect is severely diminished. the players will give it their al like they always do but IMO, this year it is poor quality showcasing opportunity. |
