Losing weight is HARD

NP - I ate cabbage at every meal during long, cold winters in China in the late 1980s. Cabbage is poor people food. It will grow anywhere and it will keep you alive. There's zero joy in such a life but hey, you won't be fat.

Go vegan for two meals a day and then eat fish or meat with one meal a day. For the two vegan meals try things like curried chickpeas, spinach, and mushrooms. Use coconut milk in the curry. Delicious. Or a vegan soup and big salad. By making two of your meals plant based every day you will get healthier (eating 5-10 servings of veggies a day). Stick to healthy grains like quinoa or lentil pasta. Lots of protein in those. I aim to eat to eat foods in every color of the rainbow each day. You will lose weight, gain muscle, and have more energy. I run and my times are now faster and my endurance has improved.

Also, it looks like you need to lift weights. This is key to losing weight and becoming a fat burning animal! Also, watch for hidden sugars in pasta sauces and yogurt. If you start drinking your coffee black it will help too. Maybe a nice green smoothie with spinach, berries, and nuts or nut butter (add a dash of cinnamon) in coconut water or unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk for breakfast along with that black coffee?

Congrats on all of your successes thus far. You got this!

Make sure you work out is not the kind where you hold onto handles for dear life with hands, or where you are walking at 2mph. That is not exercise, it is hardly doing anything.
Eat cabbage, on pp, gave a recipe for a head of cabbage in an iron skillet in the oven with chicken on top. Don't make the chicken, make the cabbage, Delicious and you can eat it for half an hour and it delish.
The only thing I see from your menu is too many high-calorie meats. High calorie, low volume food.
Watch Greg Doucette on youtube. Best advice ever.
But, yes, weight loss is hard.

Where does it say to eat only cabbage?

You say don’t make chicken make cabbage. How is cabbage a replacement for chicken? Sure eat more cabbage. But what high volume, low calorie, high protein food do you suggest OP eat if you think she should go vegan? That would be a helpful suggestion. Not “don’t make chicken, make cabbage.”

So your advice is her dinner meal should be...just cabbage?

Yes. Cabbage is delicious. Also, there are many other ways to prepare cabbage, look it up.

I'm not the cabbage PP, but I happen to love raw cabbage and basically eat it every day. I love both green and red and always put it in salads.

OMG! You are really something! BCS the recipe that pp gave had a whole chicken on top of the cabbage. It was just an example, a tasty recipe with something low in calories, to tell OP how to make it less hard by making something high in volume to feel like she is eating more.

I eat raw cabbage too. When my dog needed to lose weight or have knee surgery, at night I would give him raw cabbage instead of dog food. He had dog food in the morning but loves eating at night too. He loves it. Though, he is a golden and will eat anything.

When I moved to the U.S. from Eastern Europe, I was young and broke. I was also skinny! Of course, that was the age too, right? I worked at a daycare my first year in the U.S. as well. I recall bringing my cabbage soup to eat at work. I could not understand why everyone looked at me like I was nuts! Then I started to change my eating habits and would stop at King Soopers and buy a baguette and cheese and lunch meat, mayo, and at night after work, classes, and starving, I would make this enormous half baguette sandwich with a ton of things inside. Guess what happened for the first time? I gained weight and I was still hungry.

May I ask how much you weigh? There is no need to replace the chicken. There is no need to gorge on high protein food. Is OP a bodybuilder? Are you?
