Hmm, Matt Boemer is gorgeous and should be a bigger star than he is. In my mind there is only one reason he is not. As for teenage girls just wanting to be best friends with them that maybe so but for teen girls to know there is no chance for this person to have a sexual interest in me will hit them hard financially and in terms of future movie stardom for sure.

Truth though! The hottest fandom ships are all M/M. Dissertations have been written about it. And not just American teen girls. Millennial and Gen X equivalent Japanese women read more gay male romances than other genres.

Yet that hasn't translated over to the mainstream. They may write these stories but still don't want the actually star to be gay. As much as women don't like to admit it a huge appeal of male celebrity is imagining themselves with him, which is why many lose fans when they get partnered up or their gf/wife gets a ton of hate.
