Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are a couple!

British men don't hire beards. Not since the 1920s. It's a very American "entertainer" thing to do, the fear of being outed and losing work. Not a deal in the UK. No one cares.

He’s confident he’s sexy he’s got amazing style and has a manly alpha vibe that’s his own in that I don’t give a f and he clearly dates beautiful women.

100% correct. I remember accidentally starting several big fights over the years-even as a child- when I agreed several guys were good looking but obviously gay and a roomful of other girls- later-women LOST it on me, telling me I was wrong. Ricky Martin, George Michael, Wentworth Miller... etc etc... recently Colton from Bachelor... like I don't CARE.... but they ARE.

Not so with Harry- he is hella straight- just gives off that ragingly hetero vibe even when dressing foppishly.

The Larry Stylinson thing makes me LOL though... even the people making that up could not have believed it.

I don't think Harry Styles is gay, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was bi or pan. He clearly likes women, but he could like men too. Agree that he has a manly alpha vibe (helps that he naturally has the markers of what we consider masculine and attractive -- height, good hair, a deep voice).

What I find most attractive about Harry Styles, whatever orientation he is, is that he doesn't consider things that are feminine second-tier in the way that a lot of men do, consciously or unconsciously. Harry Styles likes rom-coms. Harry Styles like Shania Twain, and wasn't afraid to tell people, even when he was a teenager 10 years ago, and Shania Twain was considered cheesy and not an icon. Harry Styles' confidence is damn attractive.

This. I think he's bi. But who the hell cares? He's talented, funny, cute, and yes, so confident. I'm just a middle-aged mom, so what do I know, but I think he's great.

Harry Styles clearly wants to be an international star and not limited to the UK though…

He’s not gay. He has literally never been linked to anyone besides white women and tracée Ellis Ross. He’s an opportunist looking to capitalize on his crazy fans belief he was secretly with his band mate.

Even here, does it matter? He's clearly quite successful now while wearing dresses and extremely flamboyant clothing (check his outfits at Coachella). That doesn't seem to have hurt his stardom at all, in fact, you might argue, it has contributed to it...

And yet...he is not limited by the middle American perception that being white bread and heterosexual is the only route to success. That's your limitation, not his.

I think he likes to evoke an updated David Bowie-esque vibe. I also think it's partly his way of supporting the LGBT community-- refusing to declare himself anything. Personally, I hate the dresses and glam style. To me, it's like he's trying to make Fetch happen. But whatever.

It would not surprise me a bit if he's bi and the big attraction with Olivia is that she indulges in that with him.

Reminds me of Gaga. Remember she was all I love my monsters I am wearing meat?
She dropped that schtick and now she’s back to herself, I

Just because she played a Bi character on House MD doesn't mean she is bi in real life.

I read "indulges with that with him" not that she's bi, but that she's down for MMF threesomes.

Interesting NYT opinion piece about queer baiting, closeting, gatekeeping etc.

He only plays gay and keeps it ambiguous to drum up interest in his career! I like he’s music, he’s fine, but he’s definitely playing this up for headlines. And she’s the worst- a foolish predator who uses her privilege and power to try to sway public opinion about herself. Remember her complaining about getting served at her workplace? Girl you a secretary or a teacher and your avoiding them papers they gonna find your ass at work!!! Fool!!! Trying to take away her kids from their dad. Fool!
