I’ve always considered freckles to be charming and attractive. It’s definitely not something to worry about!!!! |
ala Lindsey Lohan as a child. Her freckles were super cute! |
Ha! I love this. |
Makeup can cover anything she doesn’t like.
I have terrible melasma, but it’s easily covered with foundation. |
My son was teased ONCE in elementary school about his freckles. He told them they were weird to think that. Likes his freckles. People have always thought I was younger than I am. Freckles are the answer. |
I used to work for a woman who had a face full of freckles. She had smooth skin, wore very little makeup, and remains very attractive well into her 60s. |
OP, you sound awful. Your child will need therapy because of you. Freckles are part of the variety of human appearance and it is sad that you cannot accept that. |
+1 |
Freckles are the new dimples 😍, that is my understanding. |
I have a lot of freckles and dark auburn hair and while I am too old and married for it now, I was very popular as teen/20-something year old. If your DD is otherwise nice-looking, it's not a drawback (I don't think it's a plus either, it's basically a neutral.)
My mom was like you and thought freckles were hideous and tried to make me use all sorts of remedies to get rid of them. I found it incredibly pointless and annoying; it didn't make me get rid of them or give me a complex, but it did make me seriously annoyed at my mother, so don't do that. |
