I know it's hard to remember but it's actually not the job of the press secretary to attack people, to attack journalists or be aggressive. The press secretary is supposed to communicate, which can often include rapport. Usually does not include insults. Rarely includes constant lying.

I agree, but when you have disingenuous reporters trying to play gotcha and going after the press secretary, its hard not to go on the offensive. Especially when it is painfully obvious there is an agenda on the reporters side. After a while, I am sure you can agree, once you get pushed and pushed and pushed, you push back.

The agenda is to get at the truth. That's the agenda. If you're a liar who works for a liar, you'll likely feel "pushed and pushed," because you want to be able to keep lying.

And they are realizing they have to pay for their own defense lawyers.

They ALL are like that. Every one of them. Like junkyard dogs. I don't get the appeal either.

What she is doing is wholly unrelated to the actual job. Quite the opposite. It would be like, you hire someone to style your grandmother's hair for an elegant evening and they give her a mohawk.

Or to lie. Like the others, she uses her fury to pivot to a lie for an answer instead of actually answering the real question.

Anyone else recognize this from a cheating partner? Once you see it for what it is, it's easy to see in others around you. Anger is the quickest way to hide the lies.

Did she seem prepared and quick on her feet when she was so lacking in answers to very simple questions that Fox News, of all things, cut away from her?

Hey, everyone has a choice. Listen or not.

?

Okay
She was asked very simple questions and had no answers. Repeatedly. There wasn't really much to listen to.

Funny, if she was a Democrat, you’d call that kind of accusation “misogynist”. Remember, women don’t have to be “nice” all the time - or does that only apply to liberal women?

Uh, no. The White House is filled with liars who are trying to vilify the press. It's more like a teenager who hires their grandmother's hair dresser and pays her triple to give him a mohawk. It's hard to find someone willing to do that. They are hand picked to do exactly what she's doing. Look at the others who have come before her.

It's really hard to steel yourself to lie 24/7. Most people can't do it, even if paid to do so. Not only have Trump's press secretaries had to lie like everyone in his Cabinet, but they've had to explain, argue and defend their lies. It's an impossible task, and explains the high turnover at the post, as well as the emotions. They are angry and afraid that if they don't lie convincingly enough, their boss will be angry (and his anger is apparently very unpleasant).

Not a healthy job AT ALL, physically, and psychologically.

It still blows my mind that she’s a new mom and just left her kid back in Florida.

Our baby is the same age. I can’t imagine being so angry and lying everyday for living, while not seeing our kid daily. I think the only way she can do the job is if her kid is kept far away from DC. I’m convinced she has a chemical imbalance.

And yet, if she was a Democrat, you’d be crowing about how she “has it all” and anyone criticizing her work/life balance would be immediately labeled a misogynist. Wow, this is almost too easy.

If you lie with conviction many people buy the lie more easily.

It's really as simple as, a hit dog will holler.

Yep, I am going with the hit dog will holler rationale here as this aggressive and angry comportment is common in this admin, especially Pompeo. Or my teens when they get caught in something.

+ a billion

I know my teen is lying by the level of indignation and anger. "How dare you not believe me" my teen cries, even in the face of indisputable evidence.
Most Trumpsters have never matured. Kayleigh must think her kid is a pet. Sad for thekid.

You've got nothing PP. Just give it up. Your "and yet if she were a Democrat" is stupid, no matter how much you use it.

R's are attracted to massive bitches, apparently. I think it's accurate to call Sean Spicer a massive bitch, too.

So does misogyny only apply to conservative females?

In short, yes.

I think it’s accurate to call you a massive bitch. And it’ll be so interesting to hear your outrage the next time a Democratic woman is attacked. Bookmarking all of these posts.

If you genuinely cannot see that Kayleigh is extremely aggressive as well as extremely mendacious, then maybe you need to have your glasses and hearing aids checked.

No one is slapping her down because she's a woman, for heaven's sake. They're slapping her down because she is actively playing a role in undermining our democracy.

DP.
Absolute BS, but nice try.

If takes the subjunctive....

If she were a Democrat she wouldn't have to lie constantly. She'd have no need to attack the press and be angry in defense of her lies.
But she's a Republican working for a narcissist.
I suspect she's always been like this. Ask her HLS classmates what kind of person she is.
She's likely a narcissist like her boss, cares about no one but herself. Her kid means little to her.
