From a collective of many people that is governed by a board of education. Your voice is one of many and I guarantee as soon as you make the "customer" argument you basically don't have one because everyone stops listening to your nonsense. If you want a different relationship hire a tutor or pay for private.

Who do you believe the school board works for? You are reaching pretty far to try and find an argument which absolves you of any responsibility to your students and their parents.

If you reread you'll notice I never said "not responsible" I just said it wasn't the paying customer- service provider relationship you described. Your entitlement is showing. If that's the relationship you want you're going to be spending a lot of time whining on boards like this one. Like I said before if you want that relationship you're gonna have to pay for it

Public shcools ARE an entitlement program. Nothing wrong with that, but your argument that noone should be 'entitled' is pretty silly in context.
