There are actually kids commuting from AA, MoCo and PG to play for Pipeline which is probably part of what generated op’s post. |
If you actually read the thread, you would see that many of the pipeline parents that posted don’t have an inferiority complex and actually expressed disappointment in the club. It is also a discussion on development of young players which should occur outside of Baltimore too but go ahead and bring snark. |
What the hell is AA? - someone who actually lives in DC and reads a forum centered on DC |
Anne Arundel, maybe you should talk to more of your work colleagues. |
|
Is someone acting like they are special because they live in DC? DC is a pile of sh#t. The entire region is hated by most of the country. The only thing brining people here is government jobs. I doubt the city is in the top 20 of desirable places to live. Annapolis beats out DC. So in case you didn't know moron, Annapolis is in AA County.
Now back to discussing Pipeline, one of the top clubs in the region. Pipeline girls are doing ECNL showcases and JefCup which are much better than the other area tournaments. |
I agree, I live in DC and grew up here, but have spent a lot of time elsewhere, and this kind of crap never ceases to amaze me. The worst are often the most recent arrivals. |
I don’t work with anyone living past the exurbs- perhaps a Baltimore forum would be interested in this club |
Lol. Bethesda parent- I was wondering the same question for a few minutes. |
Thank you! That just made my day. Yes, Pipeline folks are the crazy ones on these boards!! haha. Not the crazy wannabe "DC" people who bitch about and degrade local teams that their little Mia and Landon play against...or maybe the team they didn't make??? Our kids have played Pipeline in a few different age groups and they have really good teams from what we have witnessed. Anyone who says they don't either is jealous or has no clue. They may be a Baltimore team, but they are relevant to Mia and Landon's team now because they are ECNL so you'll be facing them at some point. Maybe post what happens after they face your team? |
| These DC patsies. You know they are the ones that will not be able to handle the Baltimore Bump "Foul, you can't let them bump my baby!" There are bad parents everywhere and Baltimore has its share but DC is on a lower level. |
It is also a club that DMV and NOVA parents don't care about. |
And yet here you are, in a forum discussing a soccer club and we don't even share the same local news. |
Well, if you care so little, why are you reading a thread entitled "Pipeline?" I don't have a kid or any other connection with Pipeline, but given that several of their teams are amongst the best teams in the country for the nation in their age groups, any team from the DMV (as defined narrowly) who is on a successful team will play a Pipeline team at some point. Or maybe DC poster's kids aren't that good? |
"Baltimore Bump" is what you call not having footskills? I mean when half your kids practice and play on the worst horse fields in the land one should only expect your players to be able to kick it forward and push. Not your fault your fields are crap. |
Um, Pipeline has all their practices on turf. Not sure which horse fields you've been grazing on . . . |
